You are cordially invited to the historic 3rd International Kuchipudi Dance Convention from December 23rd to 25th, 2012 in Hyderabad. The theme of the convention is 'Yuvatha Kuchipudi Bhavitha!' (Youth is the Future of Kuchipudi!). The magnificent Gachibowli Sports Complex is the Convention venue and the Grand Finale will be held in the presence of 40,000 people at GMC Balayogi Stadium in Gachibowli. At this Grand Finale, several thousand dancers are expected to dance for 'Brahmanjali and Dasavatara Sabdam' and thus create a NEW world record by beating the old record created in the 2nd Convention in 2010.

This International Kuchipudi Convention is planned in India to bring together the five generations of dancers from living legends to current students who are learning this art form to promote and further perpetuate this centuries old dance form. Several national and state level organizations are evincing keen interest to support and participate in this convention. More than 6000 Kuchipudi dancers and delegates are expected to attend from all over India and many countries around the world. The focus is on inspiring the next generation youth about this centuries old dance form. Several thousand young dancers under the age of 25 years have shown keen interest to participate and are expected to attend the convention. There will be lecture demonstrations, workshops, research paper presentations and performances. Let us all celebrate the beauty and glory of Kuchipudi Dance !
